Muar (or Bandar Maharani) is a historical town and the capital Muar district Johor, Malaysia. Famous for its delectable food such as Mee Bandung, Otak-Otak, Rojak and Satay, aromatic 434 coffee and historical pre-war buildings, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Malaysia.
Muar has recently been famed for their mural arts along the streets. Most mural arts are large scale, making them impossible to miss! One of the most popular ones “Loving Sisters” is painted by Julia Volchkova, a Russian artist. Be sure to check it out during your visit to Muar before they get weathered out.
